Shipping Policy

Thank you for considering adopting jumping spiders from us. We want to ensure the safe and comfortable delivery of our arachnid friends to their new homes. Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing your order:

We do not offer refunds. All sales are final. 

EXCLUSIVE SHIPPING PARTNER:

All arachnids are shipped via Redline Shipping, a partner with FedEx NO EXCEPTIONS. As it is ILLEGAL to ship arachnids through any other shipping provider. Each shipment requires special documentation for compliance purposes.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:

Live arrival guarantee or LAG is a service we provide to our customers in the event your jumping spider arrives DOA (dead on arrival) that it will be replaced. In order to receive LAG you must choose overnight shipping as your shipping method for your order to be eligible. However please note, we will no longer guarantee shipments sent to residential addresses. Shipments must be directed to a FedEx hub to be eligible for the live arrival guarantee. 

DOA QUALIFICATIONS: In the unforeseeable event that your spider arrived DOA here's what will be expected from you in order to receive your replacement.

Overnighted to Fedex hub.

Proof of deceased animal within one hour of delivery. 

- DOA as result of Fedex delays even though shipment was overnighted to a hub.

- DOA as a result of mismolt during transit.

If your circumstances have met the said qualifications your spider will be replaced FREE OF CHARGE, however customer is required to cover the replacements shipping cost.

TWO-DAY SHIPPING RISK:

Customers opting for two-day shipping please understand that you are taking a risk of delays in your shipment, which could ultimately result in the death of your jumping spider. Live arrival guarantee IS NOT eligible for two-day shipments.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP:

Shipments are dropped off once weekly on Monday’s. All orders must be received by 6:00 PM Central Standard Time on Saturday night to go out the following Monday. This schedule is to minimize the risk of delays carrying over into the weekend.

EXTREME CLIMATE RESTRICTIONS:

Shipments going to areas experiencing extreme temperatures below 40°F or above 95°F are not suitable for shipping and will be held, until temperatures are back within safe shipping ranges. Temperatures between 40°F to 60°F will require heat packs, while temperatures between 85°F to 95°F will require cold packs. Each order will include the necessary heat or cold pack along with thermal insulation to ensure the well-being of the spiders.

HOLIDAY SHIPPING:

We do not ship orders over holidays to avoid delays and ensure the spiders' safety during transit. Orders received on or before a holiday will be held until the following week.

COMBINED SPIDER/ENCLOSURE ORDERS:

Please note that all spider and enclosure orders automatically default to two-day shipping and ARE NOT covered by our live arrival guarantee. If you wish to upgrade your shipment to overnight with a live arrival guarantee, please contact us to arrange the upgrade. There will be a $25 charge for this service which is the difference of two-day shipping versus overnight, and must be sent via Cash App or Venmo. Thank you for your understanding.
